The Ply System combines the leak-resistant seamless membrane of a liquid-applied system with the toughness and tensile strength of a single-ply system. The reinforcing fabric gives extra strength to the finished watertight coating membrane without adding significant weight. With its reflective, energy-saving white top coat, your finished ply system stands up against tough weather and offers strong long-lasting protection. Ply system is applied in four steps base coat, Spunflex fabric rolled in between another base coat, followed by a top coat.
The EPDM coating system is a three step process: the new WAC II roofing surface cleaner, the new Tack Coat and Conklin's proven Rapid Roof III reflective topcoat. Used together this system allows you to fix leaks in your existing EPDM roof, instead of replacing it. In fact Conklin's coatings systems are sustainable indefinitely with periodic re-coats to upgrade the coating. A re-coat is a fraction of the original cost once the system is in place. The average years between re-coat are fifteen to twenty five depending on geographical location.
Truly a remarkable system. When combined with Conklin's coatings this system will work on virtually any roof. SPF is normally applied at an average of one inch thick. This will provide insulation and strength to the roof. SPF has a R value of 6.2 per inch. SPF closed cell structure stops air infiltration, the chief culprit of most energy loss. Because SPF is fully adhered to the entire surface, there are no fasteners, or seams that can cause thermal shorts that could rob energy efficiency from the building. SPF also provides a continualy seamless flashing around all protrusions. After SPF is applied to the roof, we spray apply Conklin elatomeric base coat and topcoat over the foam. The highly reflective Energy Star rated coatings reflect as much as 85 percent of the suns UV rays. SPF combined with Conklin's coating provide a fully adhered completely seamless roof system.
With the MR system we remove rust using Rust Off and 3500psi power washer. We then treat the metal with Metal Ready rust inhibitor. After that we check that all fasteners are secure and caulk all fasteners with Kwick Kaulk. We then seal all vertical and horizontal seams with Spunflex fabric embedded between two coats of acrylic elastomeric coatings. Finally we spray apply a seamless acrylic elastomeric top coat over entire roof. This will provide a fully adhered completely seamless roof system.
